Abstract Submission

Abstract submission opens : 28 March, 2022

Abstract submission ends   : 28 June, 2022

Acceptance notification      : 05 July, 2022

Abstracts have to be submitted in the prescribe format. Abstract text should be formatted in Times New Roman, Font Size 12, Justified, 1.25 line spacing, and should be maximum one page including references. References, if any, should be added in the specified format at the end of the abstract. Use the presenting author’s surname as the file name. The abstract should be sent as a Microsoft Word File (.doc or .docx only) by email to contact@casm2022.org with the subject line “Abstract for CASM 2022”.

 

Note: One participant can submit only one abstract for the conference. Abstract submissions do not require a registration, but at least one of the authors of an accepted manuscript has to be a registered delegate to present the paper at the conference.

Preparation of Posters

The space available for each poster would be of 0.9 m width and 1 m height. Each poster should include Title, Authors and their Affiliations, followed by Introduction, Results, Conclusions, References and Acknowledgements.


Best Poster Awards

 

The posters presented during CASM 2022 would be evaluated by an independent jury appointed by the organizing committee and three best posters would be selected for the BEST POSTER AWARDS. Each award will include a certificate and a cash prize/voucher.

ACS Best Poster Awards: Six Posters will be selected for ACS Best Poster Awards. The winners will get a cash prize of Rs. 5,000 each and an ACS journal certificate from the following journals: 

  • ACS Applied Materials Interfaces

  • Langmuir

  • ACS Omega

  • Crystal Growth & Design

  • ACS Inorganic Organic Au

  • ACS Materials Au

Flash Talks

 

Up to 10 selected posters will be considered for flash presentations (5 min. each). Participants are requested to come prepared with a maximum of 5 slides and the flash presentations are scheduled for the last day of the conference, just before the valedictory function. Participants selected for the Flash Talks will be informed of the same by 19:00 h on the second day of the symposium. The Flash Talks would be evaluated by an independent jury appointed by the organizing committee and three best talks would be selected for the BEST TALK AWARDS. Each award will include a certificate and a cash prize/voucher.

RSC Advances Best Poster/Flash Talk Awards: GBP 50 Book Voucher and a Certificate from RSC

 

General Information

 

The poster presentations will be divided into 2 slots, one each on the first two days of the conference. Each poster would be allotted a number, which would be mounted on the top of the board by the organizers. The list of abstracts accepted for poster presentations, with their registration number and respective slot of presentation, will be intimated one week before the conference.

 

The poster sessions shall be open for general viewing and discussion everyday during lunch break (13:00 – 14:30).  The authors are expected to be present near their posters during this time. The posters should be put up in the morning between 08:00-09:00 h and taken down after 17:00 h same day.
