We invite industries, business houses and statutory bodies to sponsor the conference. The organizing committee will ensure proper publicity and space for the contributors during the conference. Different levels of sponsorships are available as listed below. Depending on the nature of sponsorship, the conference will provide any or a combination of business opportunities including complimentary registration, business publication in the conference proceedings, company logo in the conference documents and website, and at the venue, an opportunity for short business presentations during the sessions, complimentary pages in the souvenir and exhibition stalls.

CASM 2022 is envisioned to provide an opportunity to open up new collaborations, joint ventures, technology transfer between multinational, medium and small-scale industrial units across the globe. The exhibition is expected to showcase industrial products, machineries and equipments, developments and services offered in the field of soft materials and related technologies. This symposium brings a unique opportunity to network with more than 300 professionals and academicians in the field. Only a limited number of exhibition stalls will be available, which will be distributed on a first-come first-served basis. Each stall, having an approximate of 4 sq. m area, will be charged Rs.75,000/- + 18% GST. Stalls will be covered on three sides with pre-laminated boards and will contain one table, two chairs and a 5A power supply. The conference secretariat will facilitate third party support for additional requirements such as plasma TV and display systems, on a direct payment basis. The exhibitor will be offered one complimentary registration and a complimentary listing in the souvenir. Exhibitors are also eligible for 50% concession on the full page advertisement charges in the souvenir.

 

Souvenir

 

A commemorative souvenir will be brought out as part of CASM 2022 and will be made available to all the registered delegates, invitees, funding agencies, state libraries and exhibitors. It will be a good opportunity for organizations and industries to advertise their products and services in the souvenir, which will be read and preserved by the participating delegates. In addition to advertisements, the souvenir will host sponsored features on industries subject to editorial clearance. The souvenir will be printed on good quality paper, in color. Advertisement and features should be provided in print ready high quality pdf format with an editable .cdr file.

Reaching CSIR-NIIST

 

Thiruvananthapuram is a city well connected to other parts of the world via air, road and rail.  The city has an international airport, a central railway station and a bus station. CSIR-NIIST is in close proximity of all the transport hubs, typically at a distance of 20-30 minutes by road.

 

Thiruvananthapuram International Airport :

 

The Thiruvananthapuram International Airport is a primary base for Air India Express and is a focus city for Air India, Jet Airways, SpiceJet and IndiGo. Many of the international flights operated by different airlines connect Thiruvananthapuram directly or via domestic flights to other major cities in the world. The airport is at a distance of 45 minutes to 1 hour by road (depending on traffic conditions) from NIIST. You can take private taxis from the airport to NIIST. The destination may be specified as: CSIR-NIIST, Near Industrial Estate, Pappanamcode. Taxis are available on a pre-paid basis at the respective counters or could be hired and pay per use. Online taxi services run by Uber, Ola, etc. are also available. Private taxis may charge as per the level of luxury and it may be recommended to negotiate and fix the price before starting the journey (for pay-per-use).


Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station:


Thiruvananthapuram has a central railway station located at the heart of the city and is well connected to all major cities of India. Auto rickshaws, transport buses and private taxis  are available from the Railway station. The taxi and auto rickshaw services are available on a pre-paid basis or as pay-per-use. Private taxis will charge as per the level of luxury and it may be recommended to negotiate and fix the price before starting the journey (for pay-per-use). The destination may be specified as: CSIR-NIIST, Near Industrial Estate, Pappanamcode. The ride will take roughly 20-25 minutes (depending on traffic conditions). Online taxi services run by Uber, Ola, etc. are also available. The local city buses heading towards NIIST are also available outside the railway station, if you exit from Platform No. 1. Ask for the bus going to Industrial Estate via Pappanamcode and you can get down in front of the main gate of NIIST. Otherwise you can get down at Pappanamcode junction and hire an auto rickshaw, expect a ride from the junction to be about 5 minutes.


Thiruvananthapuram Central Bus Station:


Thiruvananthapuram bus station is opposite to Thiruvananthapuram railway station. If you take a bus to Industrial Estate, you can get down in front of the main gate of NIIST. During the journey, please look for the Sree Chithra Thirunal College of Engineering on your right and the Pappanamcode Bus Depot on your left. Immediately after the depot, the bus takes a left turn on to the Industrial Estate road. It’s a straight road that leads you to NIIST and please ask the conductor/driver to help you alight at CSIR-NIIST. If you take a bus to Pappanamcode, get down at Pappanamcode junction and hire an auto rickshaw, expect a ride from the junction to be about 5 min. There is also a prepaid auto rickshaw service available from the bus station.

 

Driving to CSIR-NIIST:

 

Pappanamcode is located on the Kanyakumari-Kochi-Panvel Highway (NH 66), approximately 5 km from the city centre and the central railway station. From Pappanamcode, take a turn to the Industrial Estate road and drive for almost 1 km. You will see the main gate of CSIR-NIIST to your left.
